SYNOPSIS: With a vigilante crowd and the police on his tail a gunman seeks refuge in the neighborhood church. Will Randy find redemption or is it too late? Sunday is a look at salvation among imperfect circumstances.


About the Filmmaker:

KYLE CHIN

Kyle Chin is a son of the Jamaican film industry and has experience in many areas of the film world. Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Philosophy from the University of West Indies before graduating with honors from the Los Angles Film School. After working on several projects in Los Angeles, varying from short films to features and national commercials, Kyle returned home.

From lights, to camera, to action, Kyle has enjoyed learning the different disciplines of film in Jamaica and Hollywood as he aims to create his own Legacy.  He has been an instructor at the UWICFP for the pass 3 years instructing Directing among other subjects like cinematography and acting for film.

His film ‘Sunday’ has been screened as a part of the RING DI ALARM vignette at the British Film Institute (England), Brooklyn Film Festival(USA), World Cinema (Amsterdam) , Trinidad and Tobago International Film Festival ,and the New Art Exchange,(Nottingham).

Kyle is completely immersed in the local film industry as A Director, Cinematographer and editor et al, having directed and/or shot commercials, short films, and documentaries.
