TEACH A MAN

"TEACH A MAN," is a short documentary film, which follows a south Trinidad spear fisherman on a trip out to sea. Jason Jones, is a husband, father and commercial scuba diver, who has seen his livelihood threatened by frequent oil spills in the Gulf of Paria. Despite also facing several personal challenges, Jason, is hopeful something can be done to save his community from neglect and economic depression.

Carver is Managing Director of Sustain T&T, a not-for-profit that develops creative communication tools for environmental and sustainability education. In particular, Sustain T&T has developed the only environmentally focused film festival in the English-speaking Caribbean – Green Screen Environmental Film Festival.

Carver holds a BSc in Communications, a Diploma in Motion Picture Directing and has over 15 years of professional experience in the areas of Management and Marketing, in both the public and private sectors, in T&T as well as in North America and the Caribbean.
