After graduating from the School of Visual Arts NY with a degree in film, Maya Cozier returned to her home country, Trinidad, to write and direct her first feature film She Paradise. The She Paradise script won the Take One film feature film grant and is set to start production in 2019. Maya’s previous short films have shown at festivals internationally winning awards at Curacao International Film Festival and Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival.
