directed by JULIEN SILLORAY
Julien Silloray is a very promising french director, actually preparing his first feature. His previous shorts, Féfé Limbé (2016), Mommy Water (2014) and A home for these old bones (2013) have been very well received in prestigious festivals worldwide as Clermont Ferrand FF (Special prize of the Jury for Féfé Limbé), BFI London film festival (Special Prize of the jury), FIFAM Amiens (Best short film), Namur film festival, Filmets Badalona, Kuki interfilm Berlin, Tanger, Vues d'Afrique Montréal, Black film festival Montreal, Busan BISFF, Edinburgh Short film festival, Fémi Guadaloupe, TTFF Trinidad & Tobago, Third horizon Caribbean FF Miami, Timehri FF, etc.

Julien Silloray's films take a humanistic look at a Creole people and culture that is not well represented in world cinema. Like all his films, Mortenol has been shot in Guadaloupe.
