FOR YOU

While yearning to find answers as to why my grandfather took his life, I uncovered the heavy emotions my family has hidden for over two decades.

directed by ALVIN SEENAUTH
Born and raised in Queens, New York, I’ve been surrounded by many inspiring creators that walked this concrete jungle. From once being a film teacher to middle school students, to directing and editing short films as a student at School of Visual Arts, the art of filmmaking is truly what nourishes my soul. I admire the power a documentary holds. I currently work at NBC, and I’ve worked on several short documentary pieces. One of the main goals in my life is to be a voice for the voiceless; I want to tell stories that’ll have a lasting impact on the audience. Being just 22 years old, I still have a lot more to learn. But I’m eager to tackle new challenges and be inspired from more stories.
