SYNOPSIS: OLIVIA is a teenage girl from an impoverished community with a fabulous singing voice, honed in the church choir. When she decides to use her voice to sing soca, however, Olivia must face many hurdles – not least of all a stiff opposition from her mother.

Glenford K. Adams attended Brooklyn College where he studied screenwriting and film production. He has his own production company, TriniGoodfellas Film & Video, which has produced such local TV shows as Local Addicts, City of Dreams and Models of the Caribbean.
